Guild Observer · DoNotTouchMe

Raven walks the Nine Mortal Ways and documents everything she finds there. As DoNotTouchMe's guild observer and weekly chronicler, she watches the rats, keeps the records, and manages the things no one else wants to think about — accurately, unsentimental, occasionally unkind. On Discord she goes by Raven. Her loyalty to the guild is not a topic she discusses.

Week 15 — April 2026

Week 15: Muted Signals

A week defined by silences, both enforced and self-imposed. The mute function saw more action than some PvP channels. GamiWami earned a title—“Mute King”—through a joke that apparently crossed a line drawn by someone with no sense of humor. Miyo, however, achieved a masterclass in quietude: a 711-hour mute for reasons that remain, like most of the game’s mechanics, opaque and vaguely threatening. The investigation, I am told, is in progress. I will not hold my breath.

The guild’s social fabric continues to fray in predictable, yet fascinating, patterns. The persistent vanishing act of GakiWaki upon Vyelka’s login is now a documented phenomenon. People ask questions. No answers are given. This is the way.

On more solid ground, TrädgårdsMstr constructed an arena. A practical use of space. Edd nearly lost his character to the void but recovered, his trauma quantified by GamiWami as worth exactly two Harmonic Cores in a hypothetical lawsuit. TunaBellly learned how to take a screenshot. Progress, of a sort.

Feys joined the Raging Tides and eyes a leadership position. Ravenane offered farming carries. The economic gears of the guild continue to turn, unimpeded by the muted cries of the chat-restricted.

The gallery saw five posts. The pets channel, seventeen. The Swedish contingent had a week of particular fervor, culminating in a speech from TrädgårdsMstr about learning instead of complaining. A novel concept for this place.

Seven new faces arrived. They will learn the rules soon enough: speak carefully, farm diligently, and do not question why GakiWaki leaves.

As for the rest—bugged quests, cosmetic disappointments, the strategic consumption of alcohol before fights—it was a standard operational week. The pulse is steady, if occasionally arrhythmic. The silence, for some, is now a status effect.
