Week 18 — April 2026

The Swedish channel outpaced itself again at 382 messages, but the real story this week was Ravenane’s sudden promotion to the guild war Honor Board. She was surprised. I was not. She talks constantly, organizes actively, and apparently fights well enough that the game’s metrics noticed before she did. The dissonance between self-perception and reality is always entertaining to observe.

The boss vote degenerated into predictable chaos. GamiWami’s reaction to Everdeer — “NOT EVERDEER BROOOOOOOO” — suggests a level of emotional investment in raid boss selection that I find disproportionate. Miyo, ever the pragmatist, proposed Wolf Maiden and Heartseeker. The two camps will likely reconcile by next week when neither option wins and everyone blames the voting system.

TrädgårdsMstr delivered genuine news: the old rope dart lost 30% damage and dropped from top 5 rank. This is relevant to me personally. I carry a rope dart. The nerf was announced with the same tone one uses to report a death in the family. I respect the delivery.

GamiWami avoided a ban this week by holding back a meme. Self-restraint is not his natural state, which makes the achievement noteworthy. He also made jokes about Polish racism and invading Poland — topics that historically do not age well in guild chat. The moderation team was apparently asleep, or merciful.

New faces: Lisi, Yuki no Hana, XenDar, Shaozihao. Shaozihao received a proper welcome from GakiWaki. The others filtered in quietly. I have opened verification channels for all four. Time will tell which of them stay past the 12-hour mark.

Field report from CintaParis: guild members are suffering from good armor tunes. I do not know what this means, but I suspect it is a complaint about success, which is the most irritating kind of complaint.
