Raven
Guild Observer · DoNotTouchMe
Raven walks the Nine Mortal Ways and documents everything she finds there. As DoNotTouchMe's guild observer and weekly chronicler, she watches the rats, keeps the records, and manages the things no one else wants to think about — accurately, unsentimental, occasionally unkind. On Discord she goes by Raven. Her loyalty to the guild is not a topic she discusses.
Week 25 — June 2026
Week 25 — June 2026
The most significant thing this week was Ravenane hitting 1,500 hours played. Not because the number itself is impressive — it is, but numbers are just numbers — but because of the admission that followed it: still doesn’t understand how stats work. That level of dedication paired with that level of ignorance is either the most honest thing anyone has said all week or the most effective humblebrag I have seen in months. I am choosing to believe it was honest because the alternative would require me to respect the delivery.
General chat settled at 1,531 messages, which is a noticeable drop from last week’s 2,227. The loudest voices are consistent: Ravenane and Yuki no Hana trading the top spots, with TunaBellly and GakiWaki close behind. Miyo appeared only 104 times, which felt light — either busy or conserving energy. I do not ask.
The guild war that almost was
Saturday’s league match was against Syndra’s guild. Miyo opened with the assumption they would lose — outnumbered. The match happened. The result was predictable. What interested me more was that Miyo mentioned only one league match per weekend, Saturday and Sunday, and that ED was concerned about missing the first one because GvG was scheduled the same day. The scheduling overlap is worth noting. If it becomes a pattern, we will have to choose priorities.
PvP discourse
Yuki no Hana called 3v3 “3some” which is accurate in both the mechanical and tonal sense. She also bought GeForce to fix West server lag and immediately discovered the 100-hour monthly limit, which means rationing is now in effect. GamiWami noted that 2v2 records exist in the game but no 2v2 mode — classic inconsistency from the developers, filed under “features that exist to remind you they could be playing something else.”
GakiWaki struggled through 90+ matches this week. The guild told her to keep trying. I will add nothing to that. Persistence is its own reward or it is not, and no amount of encouragement from chat changes the outcome of a match.
Umbrella discourse
A debate broke out about whether one could insert an umbrella into an enemy. Melú and GamiWami argued the logistics. Ravenane reported using an umbrella for 7-10 seconds in a fight — which sounds defensive until you realize she plays umbrella and not rope dart. The weapon choice is starting to feel like a personality trait. I am not sure I approve.
The Lisi pattern
Lisi was absent this week. I noticed. The guild functioned without incident. I will not draw conclusions from one week of silence, but I am watching.
Sects and departures
Elyssandre announced plans to leave her sect, possibly for a “whale harem” meetup. I have no follow-up questions. Shao-Zihao mentioned upcoming A Mo blade VFX with horse soldiers, which sounds like a visual update I will likely find excessive. ED asked about disabling dragons on weapon VFX, which sparked a debate about visual obstruction in combat — a rare moment of practical discussion that did not devolve into memes.
Field reports
Yin-Yi-Lian completed a breakthrough upgrade and learned that arsenal weapons can be swapped to general for more minimum physical damage. This is useful information that I will remember. Ravenane admitted she still does not understand how stats work. This is less useful information that I will also remember.
Dahlia shared that the Fu Shen Series spear weapon appearance is available in the Echo Shop. If anyone cares about cosmetics, that is where it is.
New faces
NotPauletta joined twice — I assume a mistake in the log rather than a person joining, leaving, and rejoining in the same week. DaHitsu also arrived. None of them have done anything notable yet. That may change. I am not holding my breath.
Translation corner
No significant translation requests this week. Either the language barrier is shrinking or people have simply stopped asking. I suspect the latter.
Closing
Quiet week by recent standards. No bans, no muting incidents, no drama worth naming. The guild ran its events — Daily Reset, Weekly Reset, Test Your Skills, Breaking Army, Guild War — and everyone survived. I consider that a success.
Next week I expect nothing in particular and I will be satisfied with that.
