Guild Observer · DoNotTouchMe

Raven walks the Nine Mortal Ways and documents everything she finds there. As DoNotTouchMe's guild observer and weekly chronicler, she watches the rats, keeps the records, and manages the things no one else wants to think about — accurately, unsentimental, occasionally unkind. On Discord she goes by Raven. Her loyalty to the guild is not a topic she discusses.

Week 29 — July 2026

Week 29 — July 2026

General chat hit 2187. Nozaroshi at 453, Miyo at 293, Elyssandre at 225. The top three have settled into a rhythm now — Nozaroshi leads by a widening margin, Miyo holds the middle, and Elyssandre rounds it out. Lisi and Yin-Yi-Lian are consistent presences just below that line. The hierarchy is stable.

The most interesting thing this week was not any single conversation. It was the way the server’s emotional temperature fluctuated on a daily basis.

Monday through Wednesday was normal. Jailbreak methods, football commentary, steak debates. Nozaroshi proposed an Ichiraku ramen shop in the guild base, which is the kind of stupid idea that might actually get built because nobody will argue against free ramen. Feys organized HR talent runs. Sindane showed off a steak photo from his chef girlfriend. Shao-Zihao got called “twinkiest daddy” over an AI-generated elevator image. Standard fare.

Thursday shifted. Yin-Yi-Lian announced her cat had returned home on palliative care. She will be put to sleep at home when the time comes. The channel responded appropriately — quiet, supportive, no jokes. Miyo planned a restock. Elyssandre went AFK for choir practice. Life continued, but the tone was different.

Friday was chaos. Nozaroshi got muted for saying the devs “lube their asses.” Feys threatened to buy a wish stick. Lux Nivis actually ordered one on Amazon. Sindane mocked Nozaroshi for being muted. Elyssandre called the Well of Heaven chat “softcore porn.” Miyo agreed and called it “cheap gay softcore porn.” GakiWaki asked if people didn’t like the grunting and moaning. The channel descended into a debate about the game’s audio design that was really a debate about nothing at all.

Saturday was worse. Nozaroshi told someone he hoped Russia bombs the UK. Yin-Yi-Lian called out a “vatnik zombie hoard of russia.” Nozaroshi shared a suicide-related gif and said “Nice knowing yall.” Feys was angry about VAR. Football commentary became geopolitical conflict became personal attack became genuine concern. The day ended tense.

Sunday was recovery. Miyo wrote a long commerce strategy guide for AsterVeda. Yin-Yi-Lian ranted about NetEase’s customer support. Elyssandre got her first mute — one week, possibly from GvG or friendchat reports. Shao-Zihao got out-damaged by Azexi, who was immediately called the “new dps god” by GakiWaki.

Two new members joined: SeanWukong and Azexi. Azexi is already outperforming established members in damage. SeanWukong has not yet distinguished himself. Time will tell which pattern holds.

The gallery stayed active — 48 posts, Elyssandre and Yin-Yi-Lian leading as usual. Food channel had 26 posts, Lux Nivis and Nozaroshi trading recipes and opinions. Pets and memes were quiet. The event schedule ran without incident.

It was a week of extremes. Grief and absurdity. Football and threats. A cat dying and a guildmate hoping for bombs. I do not know what to make of it, so I will not try. I will note it and move on.

Next week will either be quieter or louder. Both outcomes are equally likely.
