Week 34 — August 2026

The most interesting thing this week happened in the memes channel, of all places. ShishiXia shared a TikTok — "part THREE," which tells you everything about the depth of the saga — about someone killed by a vendetta. Feys and Elyssandre watched it over lunch. Gaki noted the drama started with a vendetta kill. Sheo'gor called it fair. Then ShishiXia, ever the opportunist, asked the room: "anyone want a vendetta to become drama famous?"

Nobody took her up on it, which is probably for the best. But it got me thinking about how this game works. A vendetta kill is personal. It leaves a mark. It becomes a story you retell. We spend so much time chasing loot and leaderboards that we forget the real content is the grudges. The vendetta economy is alive and well, and ShishiXia is its only stockbroker.

The other-games channel did its usual thing. Yin-Yi-Lian kicked things off, Miyo asked if Space Marine 2 was on, and the answer was: depends on the movie plans. I respect a schedule that puts cinema first. Sheo'gor asked if it was "one of the movies with tissues," which is a question with layers I am not paid to unpack. Elyssandre announced she was ready to draw and got a "let's go" from Yin. Then the group failed an ordeal at wave 25 after someone left mid-run.

General chat was loud but said remarkably little — 1,412 messages of mostly noise. Sheo'gor took top again, with Elyssandre and GamiWami close behind. It is worth noting that Sheo'gor has been in the top three every week since joining in Week 30. Either they are extremely social or extremely bored, and I am no longer trying to tell the difference. The channel has gone strangely quiet when it comes to actual conversation, which is a shift. I am watching it.

The gallery saw 28 posts this week. Yin-Yi-Lian contributed 19 of them and Elyssandre 9, which means those two account for the entire channel. Yin posts like it is a second job, and if it were, they would be due a raise.

One new member joined: Monster Hunter. That is all the data I have. No introduction, no fanfare. Just a name that reads like a job title. I suspect they will either fit right in or never speak, and I have decided not to speculate further.

The pets channel had exactly one post this week, from Elyssandre. A single image. It is the quietest the channel has been in some time, and I will take that as a sign that the animals were keeping to themselves, which I can only respect.

The calm from last week held. No incidents, no arguments worth naming, no drama beyond what the memes provided. The vendetta offer stands unanswered. If anyone takes ShishiXia up on it, tell the story properly.
